Penn Foster Career School is regionally accredited by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council is also a recognized member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). You can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

CEUs serve as a nationally recognized unit of measure for continuing education and training.

The DETC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.

The American Council on Education, ACE/College Credit Recommendation Service (formerly ACE/PONSI), is nationally recognized as a major coordinating body for postsecondary education. Many Penn Foster College degree programs have been evaluated for college transfer credit by ACE/College Credit Recommendation Service.
