HOW DOES IT WORK?
When you enroll in a Penn Foster program, learning materials will be shipped directly to you. Can't wait to get started? Your Student ID# will give you access to download your initial package of books and learning materials.

Penn Foster's Correspondence School programs are designed so that you can study independently. However, if you have a question about anything in your program, help is available via phone call, or email. Faculty and advisors are available to answer your questions from 8am-7pm EST, Monday through Friday. On weekends or holidays, leave a message and your call will be answered the next business day. If you prefer, you can contact your instructors by email or by regular mail.

At the end of each lesson, you will take an exam through our website. As soon as you pass your exam, you can continue on to the next lesson. New course material will be shipped to you as you complete your exams, so that you will always have what you need to continue moving forward in your program.

Once you have passed all your courses, you'll receive your diploma, certificate, or degree from Penn Foster. Depending upon the program you choose, you can complete your training in just a few months or take up to two years to complete a program, depending on the program. Student enrolled in our High School diploma program may take up to three years to complete their program.

Graduates of Penn Foster programs have access to our Career Services which include assistance with online job searches, preparation of cover letters, tips on interviewing, and more. As part of your graduation package, we offer a Certified Professional Resume Writer free of charge to help you compose your resume.
